CSNT-R and the Yuletide Season

xmasChristmas is the commemoration of the birth of Jesus Christ and in this festive season, the ARCS (Augustinian Recollect Council of Students) of Colegio San Nicolas de Tolentino-Recoletos hosted the month-long yuletide celebration of the CSNT-R community. The ARCS led by its moderator Ms. Ma. Corazon Discutido announced the Indigenous Decorations Contest which received a schoolwide support as the contest set all classrooms off to transform trash into Christmas ornaments.  III – St. Augustine of Hippo of Ms. Melanie Dorimon emerged as the winner of the Indigenous Decorations Contest. The ARCS, in cooperation with MAPEH teacher Mr. Rollie Caudillosa Jr. also had the Belen-Making Contest with all MAPEH classes of the sophomores as participants and Giant Parol-Making Contest for all MAPEH classes of the 4th year. II – St. Magdalene of Nagasaki won the Belen-Making Contest while IV – St. Clare of Montefalco won the Giant Parol- Making Contest. Rev. Fr. Jose Ernil F. Almayo, OAR dispensed cash prizes to the winners. The ARCS also regaled the Students’ Christmas Party with fun games last December 22.
