On the 29th and 30th day of September, the whole CSNT-R Community celebrated the Math and Science Days with the theme “Ardea Excellentiam Sublimam
Alis” (Soaring High on the Wings of Excellence).
The first day of the event started with a survey which had solicited opinions of students on death penalty. The students then headed to the church for the Eucharistic celebration presided by Rev. Fr. Jose Ernil. F. Almayo, OAR.
After the mass, the opening program of the Math and Science Days began with the presentation of colors by the Circle of Young Alchemists led by their Prime Chancellor, John Robien Hechanova. What followed next was the prayer for Blessed Pope John Paul II led by Camille Tecson, the singing of the Philippine National Anthem and the welcome address given by Ms. Zaldyliz Ann Yocson, one of the moderators of the Young Wizards Society (YWS). The YWS governor, Wennie Leria declared “Math and Science Days” open. In the formal opening of the booths, Rev. Fr. Jose Ernil. F. Almayo, OAR gave blessing for safe and peaceful activities.
