San Sebastian Golden Stags fell short as they were defeated by their arch rival San Beda Red Lions 76-67 to lead the NCAA in win record.
In three quarters, the San Sebastian Golden Stags manages to stick with San Beda’s score until in the late fourth quarter where the Red Lions made a 14-2 run and sealed the game by hitting a dagger three from Robert Bolick.
Michael Calisaan lead the score for San Sebastian having 13 points and Renzo Navarro having 11 points.
Robert Bolick, Javee Mocon, and their import Donald Tankoua topped the score for San Beda having a double digit each for them.
It was a close game for the ALL FILIPINO team- Stags against the depending champion San Beda Red Lions.
The Golden Stags players have exhibited the character of the new season, the team was reignited: Braver, Bolder and Stronger.
