On January 28, 2022, San Sebastian College-Recoletos Manila (SSC-R) signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with Philippine Study Abroad Consultants, Inc. (PSACI) to market its Master and Ph.D. programs to foreign students.
The virtual MOA signing ceremony was attended by SSC-R President, Rev. Fr. Henry H. Santiago, OAR, Ms. Ivy Sato, President and CEO of PSAICI along with Rev. Fr. Ferdinand V. Fornilos, OAR, SSC-R VP for Academic Affairs, Dr. Rodrigo F. Ponce Jr., Dean of SSC-R Institute of Graduate Studies, Mrs. Sherlita C. Mendoza, SSC-R Comptroller, Mr. Arnel Cruz, Head, SSC-R Office of the Registrar, Mr. Hubert Capinpin of SSC-R External Affairs Office and Mrs. Liezel A. Vidal, Secretary to the President, SSC-R.
Through networking and close business cooperation with various business entities, the partnership aims to recruit students in Zimbabwe, Kenya, Angola, Zambia, Congo, South Africa, Algeria, Ethiopia and Nigeria.
The partnership and bilateral written agreements for foreign and local students expresses the aligned will, goals, and executions of both organizations in establishing the networks and promotion expansion of SSC-R Manila. This affiliation will lay the groundwork on making the graduate programs of the school more available and competitive internationally.
