Over the course of the seven consecutive years of its existence since 2011, the proceeds of the StagsRun fun run event has generated far more than enthusiasm and fond memories but also charitable assistance to its beneficiaries.
The StagsRun event has been the staple event that San Sebastian College Recoletos-Manila holds each year to kick-off its week long Foundation Week Celebration that is held during mid-January of every year.
Starting from its inception during 2011, the StagsRun event has generated over a million pesos of income completely dedicated to its charitable projects. Proceeds from 2011 and 2012 all went to the El Superior Dela Corporacion Filipina de Padres Agustinos Recoletos. 2013’s funds were donated to Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish, Recoletos Sta. Monica Foundation and to the Colegio de Santo Tomas Recolectos. And those of 2014 and 2015 went to parishes and schools in the Negros Occidental and Negros Oriental regions. The proceeds from the 2016 fun-run went to the funds for the 75th foundation celebration of San Sebastian College-Recoletos, Manila.
