Delegates from Fuyang Normal University (FYNU), led by Vice President Mr. Qingzu Zhang, visited SSC-R Manila on Friday, November 15, 2024, to initiate their partnership with San Sebastian College-Recoletos Manila (SSC-R). Dr. Catherine Q. Castañeda, Vice President for Academics and Research, and Mr. Narciso D. Valeriano Jr., MCM, Director for Strategic Communications and Marketing, hosted them.

San Sebastian College-Recoletos Manila (SSC-R) renews its partnership with GMA Network along with the most respective academic institutions, socio-civic groups, social media platforms, and other like-minded organizations for the most comprehensive coverage of the 2025 midterm national and local elections.

The Lingap Recoleto campaign, spearheaded by the School President Fr. Rafael B. Pecson, OAR, and the four Recoletos schools (Luzon cluster)—San Sebastian College-Recoletos de Manila, SSC-R de Cavite, SSC-R de Laguna, and Sacred Heart Alfonso—was a remarkable testament to solidarity, compassion, and collective action.

In keeping with its core commitment to service, San Sebastian College-Recoletos Manila (SSC-R) extended assistance to the Department of Education’s Brigada Eskwela program for academic year 2024–2025. The institution’s outreach program was intended to help public schools get ready for the new school year. This year’s initiative was led by the Junior High School Department, the St. Thomas of Villanova Library, and the Sebastinian Community Development and Extension Office (SCDEO).

In response to the widespread devastation caused by Super Typhoon Carina, San Sebastian College-Recoletos Manila organized the Lingap Recoleto Donation Initiative on July 24, 2024 aimed at offering extensive support not only to its students and employees who were directly impacted but also to the broader community affected by the disaster.
