On September 2, 2020, San Sebastian College-Recoletos Manila, headed by Rev. Fr. Nemesio D. Tolentin, OAR and with the assistance of Mr. Hubert Rey Capinpin, has partnered with Smart Communications Inc. in giving support to selected scholars on how to cope up with the new normal in education. In line with this, Smart, through its representatives Mr. Roland Garcia and Ms. Aiza Nejara, has given away Smart Bro Pocket Wifis, sim cards, and load cards. They also launched the SmartInfocast, a webbased text broadcast solution, in SSC-R. And because of this partnership, discounted Smart Bro Pocket Wifi and special promos will also be made available to the SSC-R community.
“With the Smart Infocast, SSC-R can send school announcements, news, updates and other information to the members of the Sebastinian community via text message. This is a very useful tool for the school to reach and easily get connected to our administrators, faculty, staff, students, parents and alumni especially during this time of pandemic and with the online learning being implemented,” Rev. Fr. Tolentin said.
