In keeping with its core commitment to service, San Sebastian College-Recoletos Manila (SSC-R) extended assistance to the Department of Education’s Brigada Eskwela program for academic year 2024–2025. The institution’s outreach program was intended to help public schools get ready for the new school year. This year’s initiative was led by the Junior High School Department, the St. Thomas of Villanova Library, and the Sebastinian Community Development and Extension Office (SCDEO).
SSC-R Manila provided a selection of materials as part of the initiative to F. Benitez Integrated School in Manila. School supplies, storybooks, and reference books were handed over to the school on August 18 and September 6, 2024.
The principals of the school conveyed their appreciation to SSC-R Manila for its generosity and highlighted the impact it has made on the physical enhancement of their school library.
