San Sebastian College-Recoletos (SSC-R), Manila and The Belt and Road Union of 20 Nations for Advanced Personnel Development (U20) Qingdao, Shandong Province, China, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on February 11, 2020 (Tuesday) at the President’s Office Conference Room, SSC-R Manila. Out of this partnership, the involved parties will have the following mutual benefits: a) parties will work together to develop a relationship of friendly cooperation in a spirit of equality and mutual benefits; b) parties will probe ways to jointly explore the establishment of long-term and short-term education programs, and exchange programs for students and teachers; and c) parties will also probe ways to jointly develop transnational Masters and Doctoral programs in educational leadership and in business administration. SSC-R Manila was represented by Rev. Fr. Nemesio D. Tolentin, OAR, School President (seated second from left) and Rev. Fr. Henry H. Santiago, OAR, Vice President for Finance and Administration(seated extreme left), while Mr. Guo Huixing, TEM CEO/Vice Secretary-General (seated third from left), represented the other party, while Mr. Johnson Legaspi, TEM Liaison & U20 Director (seated extreme right) looked on as a witness. Also present in the MoU signing, but not in the picture, were other members of the U20 and SSC-R delegation: Ms. Li Jianghua, Market Director, Mr. Zhao Tong, U20 Vice Secretary-General, and Ms. Sui Suijiaozhi, Academic Director and Dr. Rodrigo F. Ponce, Jr., Director, Quality Assurance Office and ETEEAP, Data Privacy Officer.
