Rain or shine, the last leg of MYX Slam Jam 2015 pushed through last August 20 at the San Sebastian College-Recoletos Manila Quadrangle. Organized by the ABS-CBN MYX Production in cooperation with the San Sebastian Supreme Student Government, it serves as MYX Philippines’ way of giving thanks to avid viewers of the MYX channel, who are mostly high school and college students. MYX Slam Jam started 15 years ago and was held yearly in various schools and institutions.
The San Sebastian Community witnessed performances from The Voice Kids Philippines Season One 1st runner up winner, Darren Espanto, and bands such as Philia and Hale. Aside from those of the 3 main performers, performances from the Sebastinian Arts Society and other Sebastinian students were also witnessed by the community.
Delays were experienced due to bad weather but the event pushed through with much hype and excitement. Maintaining and reinforcing the energy from the crowd were MYX’s very own VJ Chino Luipio, VJ Aia De Leon, and VJ Tippy Dos Santos.
