Congratulations! We’ve made it again!

In letter dated May 11, 2012, The Board of Directors of the Philippine Accrediting Association of Schools, Colleges and Universities (PAASCU) recently grants 5-year re-accreditation for the following programs:
1. Business and Management (Level III Status)
2. Arts and Sciences (Level III Status)
3. HRM and Tourism(Level II status)
4. Computer Science (Level II status)

The grant is given after the PAASCU Team of Accreditors conducted re-survey visits last February 23-24, 2012 for the Business and Management, Arts and Sciences, HRM and Tourism programs and March 1-2, 2012 for the Computer Science program.These programs satisfactorily met the standards and fulfilled all the requirements of the PAASCU for re-accreditation.

SSC-R Manila also holds a Level III accreditation for its High School and Grade school programs, the highest level for basic education units, by FAAP/ PAASCU.

Indeed, these achievements are SSC-R Manila’s affirmation of our commitment to excellence.

SAN SEBASTIAN COLLEGE-RECOLETOS MANILA IS NOW A COMMISSION ON HIGHER EDUCATION (CHED) DEPUTIZED EXPANDED TERTIARY EDUCATION EQUIVALENCY ACCREDITATION PROGRAM (ETEEAP) IMPLEMENTOR OF THE FOLLOWING PROGRAMS:

  1. BS BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION ( Business Management, Marketing Management, Financial Management, and Human Resource Management)
  2. BS PSYCHOLOGY

SSC-R ICT Dept. as a new member of PCS

The ICT department of SSCR is now a bonafide member of the Philippine Computer Society.  It is a  prestigious IT organization that recognizes the invaluable contribution of IT to the advancement of our nation. Since its formation in 1967, PCS has spearheaded local and international activities which strive to continuously promote, protect and enhance the members of the IT profession. In 1978, PCS became a founder-member of the South East Asia Regional Computer Confederation (SEARCC). SEARCC is composed of the national computer societies from Australia, Hongkong, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, New Zealand, Pakistan, Philippines, Singapore, Sri Lanka, and Thailand. PCS is also a founding member of the Information Technology Foundation of the Philippines (ITFP) organized last 1992. (source – http://www.pcs-it.org)
